Description :
Heartwood is a reddish-brown to orange with conspicuous growth
rings and can be highly resinous. Pitch pine is approximately
40% heavier than European Redwood. Used extensively in joinery
for church pews and ship building. Noted for its strength
and is moderately durable. Can be painted but is noted for
its beauty when polished. |
